"Eat More Potatoes: Milk Strikes, Food Boycotts, and the Effects of the High Cost of Living in New York During the Great War, 1916-1919"

Most of this is going to be a chapter in the "Preserve or Perish" book, so it's a nice little preview of things to come! It was featured in the Spring, 2017 issue of New York History journal, which had an agriculture theme.

“'No Occupation:' How Urban Experts Defined and Changed Farm Women's Lives, 1900-1920"

This is the unpublished research paper that started it all! My not-perfect, but still interesting overview of the Country Life Movement and cooperative extension and their attempts to reform rural women and their everyday lives.
