I've been studying food history, in one way or another, since 2006, when I first started making the connections between historical farming practices and modern sustainable agriculture. After teaching myself to cook and becoming an avid vintage cookbook collector, the interest only grew. In graduate school that interest blossomed into something wonderful and I've been doing food history ever since.
