Thanks to the OAH 2016 Conference and their "Pub Hub," which I attended with book proposals in tow, I now have an advance contract with SUNY Press to turn my thesis into a book, tentatively entitled, "Preserve or Perish: Food Conservation in New York During the Great War."
My days have been filled with researching food riots and milk strikes, reading Herbert Hoover biographies, and planning archives visits.
Alas, that means I won't have much time for podcasting. At least not until after February 1st, which is my deadline.
So wish me luck - if I have time I'll try to post interesting tidbits I find along the way.
